GPI’s value-added laminating capabilities include extrusion and adhesive lamination. We can also co-extrude and co-laminate, applying multiple layers of material in a single pass. We also apply release coatings, aqueous coatings, coatings for high coefficient of friction, and coatings to inhibit corrosion.
Extrusion Lamination
We mount film foil or fabric onto our paperboard by applying a melted resin, for use in gable tops, canisters and medical test cards.
Adhesive Lamination
We apply liquid adhesives to mount film, foil or paper onto our paperboard, for applications such as microwaveable products and decorative base stock such as holograms or metallized film.
Accelerated Supply Access Program (ASAP)
ASAP provides delivery of ready-to-print metallized film and holographic rolls and sheets in under two weeks for less-than- truckload volumes. Our inventory includes MasterlamTM metallized polyester lamination with an acrylic overcoat and SpectralamTM holographic laminations in several pattern choices.
