Job purpose
Leads the human resources initiatives, processes and programs for the site. As a business partner, the HR Manager is responsible for providing functional expertise on issues and matters relating to employee relations, performance management, organizational design and development, conflict resolution, human resources policies and procedures, compensation and statutory regulations.

Key Objectives & Responsibilities

  • Drive a high performance culture and increase employee engagement

° Provide oversight, support, and guidance to employee-led teams in the areas of health and safety, community involvement, reward & recognition, employee communication

  • Provide expert HR guidance and support to managers and employees

°Monitor key business metrics and utilize workforce analytics to identify areas of opportunity/concern, support the creation and execution of action plans to address

  • Lead the timely and quality execution of HR processes and procedures

° Develop, implement and maintain HR processes and procedures aligned with HR guidelines and statutory requirements
° Ensure performance management process is fully implemented at all levels

  • Provide HR support to drive key division and HR functional initiatives and projects
  • Attract, recruit, retain and develop talent

° Partner with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition Manager to recruit top talent
° Work with managers and employees to create development plans

Required Qualifications

  • University degree in business, human resources or related field
  • Minimum 7 years of Human Resources experience; previous experience in a manufacturing environment a plus
  • Minimum of 3 – 5 years of supervisory experience
  • HR Analytical Skills
