Our success is not possible without the vitality of the local communities where we operate. These communities are our employees’ hometowns. They provide services for our sites and a talent pool of our next generation of Graphic Packaging teammates.
Our Community Pillars
We believe that listening to and investing in our communities improves the health of our business, our local environment, and our society. We focus our efforts on three pillars.
Investing in Education
By educating tomorrow’s leaders, we build a pipeline of talent to shape our future workforce. Through our Graphic Packaging Scholarship and by participating in events like Manufacturing Day each year, we’re able to support high school and college students who are interested in the challenging and rewarding potential of a manufacturing career.
Preserving the Environment
As part of our commitment to the environment—both locally and globally—each year, we host TICCIT (Trees Into Cartons, Cartons Into Trees), a community outreach and educational program founded by the Paperboard Packaging Council. Since joining the program in 2008, we have planted trees with more than 120,000 students in North and South America and Europe.
Putting Food on the Table
Our commitment to fighting hunger is reflected in the community organizations we support. We regularly volunteer with and financially support local food banks and groups that provide access to meals for those who need the support.
