Graphic Packaging Named Best in Class for Innovation and Sustainability at PAC Global Awards 2025

Graphic Packaging is celebrating the continued success of two multi-award-winning innovations at this year’s PAC Global Awards.

Judged by a panel of international brand, design and packaging experts from around the globe, the coveted awards recognize outstanding achievements in cutting-edge packaging innovations and design excellence. The winning packs are the EnviroClip™ Bottles clip-style multipack solution developed for global brand PepsiCo and the PaperLite tray developed for UK-based food producer Pilgrim’s Food Masters (Pilgrim’s.)

“It’s always a great honor to be recognized by our peers and industry experts on a global stage,” said Ricardo De Genova, Senior Vice President and Chief Innovation Officer at Graphic Packaging. “But to be acknowledged for our contributions to Innovation and Sustainability is a real testament to the strides we are making in providing consumer packaging solutions that are more circular, more functional, and more convenient than traditional alternatives.”

“I want to congratulate PepsiCo and Pilgrim’s for their dedication to collaborative innovation and say thank you to all who contributed to these winning projects.”

Best in Class: Sustainable Package Design

Global brand PepsiCo replaced plastic shrink film on their 6-count 16.9oz PET bottles multipack with EnviroClip™ Bottles. This clip-style multipack solution utilizes unique technology to provide the strength needed to accommodate the weight of the PET bottles.

Best in Class: Package Innovation Design

Developed in collaboration with Pilgrim’s for a major UK food retailer’s range of cooked, sliced meats, these trays utilize the innovative PaperLite material. Providing an excellent gas barrier for modified atmosphere packaging (MAP) applications, PaperLite offers a fiber-based alternative to traditional plastic trays. With a fiber content of 90 percent, PaperLite is recyclable in household waste streams and is certified by the On-Pack Recycling Label (OPRL) scheme.
