Graphic Packaging secures a hat-trick of wins at the PAC Global Awards, including two Best in Class prizes.

Graphic Packaging, the global leader in consumer packaging, has secured a hat-trick of wins at the PAC Global Awards, including two Best in Class prizes.

The prizewinning packs include the primary packaging solution developed for Kraft Heinz Lunchables Crispy Grilled Cheesies with 360Crisp, the striking Salzburg Schokolade Mozartkugeln gift box, and a premium and contemporary paperboard carton for Colgate Max White Ultimate toothpaste.

One of the most prestigious award ceremonies in the global packaging industry calendar, the PAC Global Awards celebrate cutting-edge packaging innovations and design excellence.

Best in Class, Brand Marketing – Brand Extension, Food: Kraft Heinz Lunchables Crispy Grilled Cheesies with 360Crisp Technology

Kraft Heinz’s first launch from their 360Crisp platform, this game-changing primary packaging solution consists of a microwavable two-piece tray with lid. The tray incorporates multiple susceptors, strategic venting, and varied heat points to deliver a golden-brown, pan-like crisp outside, and melted cheese inside in just 60 seconds.

This innovative packaging solution also made it to Time Magazine’s Best Inventions of 2023 list.

Best in Class, Brand Marketing – New Brand, Food: Salzburg Schokolade Mozartkugeln

The bespoke gift boxes developed for Salzburg Shockolade combine structural and graphic design excellence to provide a visually striking pack consistent with the luxurious Mozartkugeln brand. Incorporating a round, two-piece telescoping base and lid design, the new pack is made entirely from paperboard and delivers both product protection and a premium aesthetic.

Award of Distinction, Sustainable Package Design – Package Circularity: Colgate Max White Ultimate Toothpaste

This eye-catching, recyclable carton helped leading toothpaste brand Colgate replace the clear plastic tubes it previously used for its Max White Ultimate line of premium toothpaste.  An unusual shape, high-quality graphics, and metallic print effects give the pack a crisp, clean, high-end aesthetic.

“To see our customer collaborations shine on the big stage is so gratifying, but we know it wouldn’t happen without the hard work, creativity, and passion shown by our customers and innovation teams around the world,” said Ricardo de Genova, SVP of global innovation and new business at Graphic Packaging. “Congratulations to everyone who contributed to the winning projects and helped bring these consumer packaging innovations to life.”
